Airport & car rental
At the Airport if you need a trolley you will need a 1 euro piece.
The car rental firms are at Terminal 2 where Easyjet flies into. BA comes into Terminal 1, and a shuttle bus runs between the terminals every 6 minutes.
Through much trial & error we have found Avis to be consistently the best service car rental firm here, tel. 00 33 820 333 666. If you go straight out of Terminal 1 as you come out of baggage reclaim & immigration, cross the road onto a pedestrian walkway between two multistorey car parks.  Keep straight ahead to a road on the other side of which are Avis, and the other car rental cos.

To Mougins
From the airport follow signs to the main A8 Cannes (not Nice). Shortly before exit 42 for  Cannes, Mougins, Grasse you need 2.60 euros for a toll peage. If you have the change use a lane to throw it in a basket, if not, look for a lane with a man in the booth, usually towards the right. Exit at 42 (which is after 44!) where you get onto a large roundabout. Get in left hand lane and see signs to Mougins, Grasse. Take about the 3rd exit on a dual carriageway going North, signed to Grasse. Do not take the small exit just before this which has a sign to Mougins village.  Immediately after a right hand bend down the hill is an exit to Mougins for which the sign is sometimes a bit obscured. Take this & at the T junction turn left.  Follow road  > roundabout & take exit signed to Mougins village up a short hill.  Immediately on the brow of the hill turn left over a bridge over the main road, signed to Mougins village. Follow the road up the hill.  Near the top leave a car park with the tourist office on your left and round 1 more bend turn right.  Ahead of you is a barrier.  Mougins is essentially a pedestrian village, but residents have a magnetic key allowing them in. The barrier is open until 11 am every day for trade and other deliveries. On your right there is a small car park for the Bureau de Poste, where there is an ATM. You will see a road ahead to the right of the barrier which takes you down to a 2 level car park which is the main village car park. Park here. If it is full, go round again following the exit road from the car park, right at T & right again at T back to the right turn to the village entrance. This time, just before the Post office there is a right turn signed parking for 38 cars. There is always space here.

To the flats
Opposite the steps up from the main car park you will see a large map of the village. It is about 200 yds from here to the flats. If you are facing the map, to your left is a road bearing right into the village. Take this, & follow it through a small square with fountain on the right, bear left , not up a ramp on the right, round the end of the houses on your left into our courtyard. The entrance to the flats is up the steps straight ahead.  Wooden door is flat 1, and white slatted door is flat 2. The Cave is the big door under the arch below.  If you walk straight ahead out of the courtyard you will reach the main square within 100 metres.
